Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the Singapore Management University Yong Pung How School of Law, and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2023.

Prior to joining PY Legal LLC, Rebecca worked in the public sector as State Counsel / Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC). In her two years there, Rebecca’s focus was on transactional and contract-drafting work. Rebecca was also part of AGC’s Legal Profession Secretariat team, assisting in matters relating to the admission of advocates and solicitors to the Singapore Bar.

Rebecca also underwent training postings at AGC’s Crime Division and at the Legal Aid Bureau. At the former, she conducted numerous plead-guilty mentions and assisted at trials. At the Legal Aid Bureau, Rebecca was, amongst other things, part of a team that handled a Hague Convention international child abduction matter.

At PY Legal LLC, Rebecca’s practice straddles various areas of law, including family litigation and corporate drafting. Rebecca strives to always keep her clients’ best interests at heart, and to remain professional yet compassionate in her dealings with others.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys listening to and making music. She destresses by going for yoga classes and spending time with her loved ones – whether that be a meal with her family, or catching a movie with friends.
